When I built this house, I didn’t want my name on the gate. I wanted my parents’.
Bhupinder and Jagjit taught me that a guest, a parahuna, is never just a guest. You feed them first, and you make sure they’re comfortable before you sit down yourself. Naming the house after them means every family that stays here does so with their blessing.
We opened in 2024. Since then we’ve hosted families here for weddings, parents visiting their children at Amity, and travellers who needed somewhere calm near the airport. Our kitchen started out cooking for our guests. Now it cooks for functions across the Tricity.
I still meet most guests at the gate myself. If you stay with us, you’re family. That’s how my parents raised me, and they’d have it no other way.
